Lazio striker Filip Djordjevic believes that the capital city club have a chance at winning the Scudetto this season, pointing out that anything is possible is football.
The Biancocelesti currently sit in fifth place in the Serie A standings with 19 points, which is nine points behind first place Juventus, but could close the gap down to just six points with a victory over the Bianconeri at the Stadio Olimpico on Saturday.
Djordjevic spoke to Sky Sport Italia about the possibility of Lazio securing the Scudetto this campaign and commented on the upcoming clash with the Turin giants.
“Do we believe we can win the Serie A title? Everything is possible in football,” said the former Nantes man, who has scored six goals in his 11 league appearances this season thus far.
“Playing against a strong team like Juventus will give me extra motivation, as they are the greatest team in Italy right now.
“We will be playing at home and it will be important for us to take down the opponent and win.
“Who do I fear most from Juventus? All of the Juve players are strong and of high quality.”
