Mauro Icardi looks set to be given a new deal at Inter following recent interest from the Premier League.

Despite Inter having a poor season so far, leaving them in ninth, the 21-year-old striker has been in blistering form scoring seven goals in 11 games, and it seems the club may struggle to hold on to their biggest asset.

According to Tuttomercatoweb, recent interest has been registered by Chelsea, Liverpool and Tottenham Hotspur with the club responding by opening new talks with their star player.

After the recent sacking of Walter Mazzarri the club are hoping to keep the squad settled and allow new coach Roberto Mancini to build on things, with the Argentine striker being a key part of Mancini’s  plans.

Details of a new contract are not known yet but it is believed that the player will receive a significant pay increase and higher access to image rights.
