Inter are reportedly interested in taking Manchester City defender Matjia Nastasic to the San Siro in January as they look to strengthen their central defensive options.
The 21-year-old Serbian international has not featured at Manchester City this season, as a combination of injury and competition for places has kept the player on the sidelines.
Sportmediaset report that Roberto Mancini is interested in reuniting with the defender, as the two worked together when Mancini was at the manager at Manchester City. Nastasic won City’s Young Player of the Year in 2013.
The former Fiorentina man is said to be keen on a return to Serie A due to his lack of opportunities under Manuel Pellegrini in the Premier League.
Nastasic has made 16 appearances for Serbia since making his international debut in February 2012.
