Inter targeting move for Paris Saint-Germain forward

Inter are looking to land Paris Saint German’s Argentine striker Ezequiel Lavezzi in an effort to provide new coach Roberto Mancini with a wide attacking option.

The former Napoli star, who joined the French champions in the year 2012 for a fee of a €26.5 million, is reportedly eager to return to the peninsula and the Nerazzurri would be more than happy to welcome him back.

Gazzetta dello Sport report that Mancini is eager to boost his attacking options and has set his eyes on the Argentine forward as the primary transfer target in the upcoming January transfer window.

If Lavezzi opts to stay in Paris fort he remainder of this season, it is believed that Inter will be looking to bring the 29-year-old to the San Siro next summer.

The Argentina international has thus far amassed 101 appearances in all competitions for the French club, netting 25 times and providing 15 assists.

He also has 37 caps and four goals for Argentina to his name.
