Juventus have reached an agreement in principle to acquire Croatian starlet Andrej Kramaric from Rijeka.

The 23-year-old was released by Croatian giants Dinamo Zagreb in 2013 and has since established himself as a prolific goal-scorer for his club team, in the domestic Prva HNL league.

According to Sky Sport Italia, the youngster has caught the attention of a number of Italian clubs including Juventus, Inter and AC Milan.

However, reports suggest Kramaric has decided to join the Bianconeri on a five-year deal for a cut-price fee, because the Croatian international’s father has the ability to terminate a clause in the striker’s current contract – significantly reducing the transfer fee.

Croatian club Rijeka were initially holding out for a fee in the region of €10-€12 million, but will now have to settle for something much less.

Kramaric has scored 27 goals in 25 games this season and will apparently earn €1.5 million over the five-year period with the Italians.
