Juventus is targeting former Inter defender Rolando in the upcoming January transfer window.

With Martin Cacares and Angelo Ogbonna struggling with injury and no return date expected for Andrea Barzagli, the Bianconeri are looking for a defender to increase Massimiliano Allegri’s options.

Tuttosport believes that Porto’s Rolando fits the bill, and it is thought that the player’s agent is in Italy to meet with Juventus director general Beppe Marotta

However, the Portuguese club would be looking at a figure of around €5 million to part with the 29-year-old defender, the Old Lady is believed to favor an initial loan, with the player’s contract expiring in June 2016

Roma and Inter are the other clubs rumored to be interested Rolando’s agent may also meet executives of the Giallorossi and Nerazzurri in the next few days.

The Portuguese international spent last season on loan at Inter, but returned to Porto in the summer, having also spent a loan spell at Napoli.
