Ljajic revels in great Roma victory

Adem Ljajic helped Roma to their fourth successive Serie A win, and reveled in a his team’s 2–1 away success against Atalanta on Saturday afternoon.

The Serbian took full advantage of a rare start on the day, and made the best of it with an impressive display in helping Roma come from behind to win.

Ljajic spoke after the game and was overjoyed to have helped Roma to an important win in the context of the title race against Juventus.

“We knew it was going to be difficult in Bergamo and the important thing was to win,” Ljalic said to Sky Sport Italia.

“With out determination and quality, we were able to up the pace and managed to win.

“We try not to think about Juventus. I try to only focus on Roma. We want to stay first but that does not only depend on us of course.”

Ljajic put in an impressive performance, equalizing for Roma and setting up team-mate Radja Nainggolan for the winner.
