Roma forward Adem Ljajic believes there are too many people who criticise him and the Giallorossi.

The Serbian has failed to nail a starting berth in Rudi Garcia’s side but still has managed to score three goals in the league, including a splendid goal against Torino in their recent 3-0 win.

Speaking to Sky Sport Italia the forward talked about the goal and the controversial gesture that followed it.

“For me, all the goals are important, even the easy ones,” he said. “Against Torino, I had a nice goal after a great play.

“I was making the gesture because there are so many talkers who speak without any reason. They put me in the middle, even if my teammates and I give our best for Roma. I had to make this gesture and that’s it.”

Ljajic took the opportunity to clarify that he had nothing against Roma fans.

“I have nothing against them, I have it with those who talk in the newspapers.”

Ljajic is expected to be part of the starting line up as Roma take on Atalanta at the Stadio Atleti Azzurri d’Italia on Saturday.
