Kalidou Koulibaly NapoliNapoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has been named as a possible target for Premier League side Manchester United.

The 23-year-old French defender was previously linked with a move to Bayern Munich after some impressive performances in Serie A.

According to the Daily Star, the Red Devils have lined up Koulibaly as an alternative defensive reinforcement should they not be able to sign their main target Bruno Martins Indi from Portuguese side Porto.

It is expected  that the Partenopei would demand a hefty fee for the defender as he is on a five year contract and only moved to the Stadio San Paolo from Genk for €10 million in May 2014.

Kouilibaly has made 10 Serie appearances for Napoli during the 2014-15 season and scored once for the Azzurri.

He is yet to play a full international but he does have 11 French Under-20 caps to his name.
