Chievo coach Rolando Maran knows the Flying Donkeys have a tough task ahead of them on Sunday as they travel to Friuli to take on Udinese.

The Verona side will be looking to build off their 2-1 victory over Cesena before the international break, but the 51-year-0ld is aware that the Zebrette will provide a stern test.

“We certainly haven’t just discovered Udinese’s value recently as they have done well in the championship for several seasons,” he stated at his pre-match press conference.

“They are structured in a certain way so they can have continuity. They have great players like [Antonio] Di Natale who is able to score goals in every fashion over the past several seasons.

“These are all aspects that makes this away match more difficult but it doesn’t mean anything as every Sunday we play teams of value.

“We have worked hard but our growth must shown in the match, at the most important time of the week.

“We must show continuity in our results. Our words are worth little.”
