AC Milan striker Jeremy Menez was disappointed his side didn’t come away with the three points against rivals Inter on Sunday night.

The Rossoneri went ahead in the first half through the Frenchman, but Joel Obi equalised in the second to give the teams a point a piece in the 1-1 draw.

“The result was fair,” Menez told the press.

“We are a bit disappointed because we wanted to win the match.

“The season is long and we are in a difficult period, but we mustn’t give up.

“Inter played well, I want to watch the game again to work on any errors and other things.

“Both teams wanted to win and we would have got an injection of confidence.

“We are looking to win next time we play at the San Siro.

“I scored a nice goal, but I wanted to win. I can do better and the race for third involved a lot of teams.”
