Luciano Moggi has thanked Juventus president Andrea Agnelli for his calls to grant forgiveness to the former Bianconeri director.
Agnelli has suggested that it is time for people to forgive Moggi, who was implicated as the main instigator during the Calciopoli scandal which resulted in Juventus being stripped of two Scudetti, as well as being relegated to Serie B.
“I want to thank the president for his positive words,” Moggi told Tuttomercatweb.com. “Though, there is nothing to forgive me for.
“Andrea was close to Juventus in the 12 years I was at the club, because he was always with his father, so he knows what my job was very clearly.
“Agnelli is a president who knows what he wants and it’s no coincidence that has brought Juventus to victory.
“He took Juventus, in the most difficult time in it’s history, and brought success back to them.”
