Giovinco - JuventusJuventus forward Sebastian Giovinco has emerged as a potential transfer target for Napoli.

The Partenopei are prepared to dip into the transfer market for attacking reinforcements after Lorenzo Insigne was ruled out for six months with a cruciate ligament injury.

Giovinco’s name is being strongly considered as a suitable replacement by Napoli coach Rafael Benitez, according to Sky Sport Italia.

The 27-year-old’s contract is set to expire next summer, and is likely to be available in a cut-price deal in this coming window as the Bianconeri look to avoid getting nothing for the player.

Napoli sporting director Riccardo Bigon has already met with the agent of the Italy international, with the intent of confirming that the player is keen on a move to Naples.

Giovinco has made just four Serie A appearances this season.
