Jose Callejon - Real MadridNapoli forward Jose Callejon believes he owes a lot to former boss Jose Mourinho.

The Spaniard is top of the Serie A goal scoring charts with eight goals and is keen to remember the good years he had at Real Madrid under the Portuguese coach.

“I owe Mourinho a lot,” Callejon told Roja. “I spent some good years with him at Madrid, we won some trophies and I grew as a player.

“He was very demanding of me, but he was always very nice to me.

“I did not expect to hear from him after I left Madrid, but he phoned me when I became a dad.”

Callejon has made a brilliant start to the season with Napoli and has been rewarded with a call up to the Spanish national side, and is now in line to make his Spain debut against either Belarus or Germany.
