Giovinco - JuventusNapoli will reportedly pursue Juventus forward Sebastian Giovinco as a possible replacement for the injured Lorenzo Insigne in January.

The Partenopei are expected to be without the 23-year-old talent for at least six months, as he required knee surgery after picking up a serious injury during his team’s 1-0 victory over Fiorentina on November 9, and it seems like the Neapolitan side may be ready to make an offer for the underused Bianconeri man.

According to Sportmediaset, Napoli will be looking to take advantage of the 27-year-old’s lack of playing time at Juventus and could attempt to sign him in January.

The former Parma man, whose current contract with the Old Lady is set to expire in June 2015, has struggled to show his quality this season due to Juve’s abundance of forwards and has made just four Serie A appearances this campaign thus far.

Up until his injury, Insigne had scored one goal and provided two assists in his 11 league appearances this term.
