Ghirardi - ParmaThe future of Serie A team Parma is still in doubt after president Tommaso Ghirardi, has so far failed in his attempts to find a buyer.

It is no secret in recent times that the club has been looking for new investment however there is believed to have been some contact between Ghirardi and entrepreneur Luca Baraldi.

It is believed that Ghirardi has become disillusioned with Calcio after the controversial decision to strip Parma of their well earned European place last year after failing to get a European licence due to unpaid tax debts.

After many well documented financial problems the club is now supposedly up for sale after reaching debts of €40 million and not being able to pay players and staff for the last few months, with a points penalty on the horizon for the club because of growing tax issues.

The sale of the club to Massimo Zanetti, who previously expressed an interest, hasn’t been totally ruled out either despite Zanetti recently failing with a bid to take over Bologna.

With the future of the club in s0me degree of doubt, worrying times are ahead for the Gialloblù who currently sit rock bottom of Serie A after a disastrous campaign so far.
