Parma are reportedly set for a points deduction after failing to pay employee wages on time.

The Crociati were stripped of their UEFA Europa League place at the end of last season due to financial irregularities, and are set to be sanctioned for failing to meet the wage deadline on Monday.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, the Ducali are set for a points deduction as they have failed to pay three months’ worth of wages, estimated to be worth around €20 million.

The report also states that the Crociati will be sanctioned, but will not face the maximum five point deduction as they have collected one month’s worth of wages out of three.

Parma currently sit at the bottom of Serie A with only six points from 11 games.
