Alexandre Pato has tweeted his support for AC Milan in the upcoming Derby della Madonnina, while using the opportunity to remind his followers of his own glory days at the San Siro.
The former Milan striker, who is currently on loan to Sao Paulo from Corinthians, took to the social media site ahead of Saturday’s derby to send a supportive message to his former club.
Through his official Twitter account, the 25-year-old Brazilian tweeted, “The most beautiful game in Italy… Milan vs. Inter!!” accompanied by a YouTube video of the 2011 derby, where Milan won 3-0 over Inter, thanks to a brace by Pato and a late-game penalty, converted by Antonio Cassano in stoppage time.
Cassano was sent off from the match moments later, after being shown his second yellow card.
