Genoa’s Diego Perotti feels his side were a little better than opponents Palermo, despite the 1-1 result.

The home side went behind early on thanks to a stunning Paulo Dybala strike, but Andrea Bertolacci levelled on 30 minutes to ensure the points were shared.

“Palermo are a good team,” Perotti told Sky Sport Italia. “We lost two point as we played much better than them.

“We must continue to word like this in any case. If we do we can achieve the dream of playing in the Europa League.

“I am very happy to be at Genoa, the people have really welcomed me and I gave everything tonight.

“I have had so many injuries and I needed to play, and I am doing well here.”
