Roma midfielder Miralem Pjanic is ready to take on Atalanta in the capital city club’s first match after the recent international break as the second half of the Serie A season edges closer.

The Giallorossi will be facing the Orobici in Bergamo on Saturday and are prepared to fight for the three points over their hosts in order to remain on the tail of league leaders Juventus, who are currently ahead of the second place team by three points.

Pjanic released a short statement through his official Facebook page on the morning of the away clash with Atalanta and gave charge to the Roma fans as the Lupi hunt for a victory.

“Towards the second marathon,” said the 24-year-old, posted along with a picture of the Roma and Atalanta crests.

Rudi Garcia’s men have been inconsistent as of late, winning only four out of their last 10 games in all competitions, and are expecting to take advantage of the struggling 17th place La Dea.
