Fiorentina beat Guingamp 2-1 at the Stade du Roudourou on Thursday evening in the Europa League to secure top spot in Group K.
Two goals inside 15 minutes from Marko Marin and Khouma Babacar had given the Italians a lightning start before Claudio Beauvue converted the penalty just before the break.

Jonas Lossl – 6 – Unlucky
Made a couple of good saves, but couldn’t do much with either goal. His defence could have helped him out more.
Baissama Sankoh – 6 – Decent
Got forward down the right flank constantly and whipped in quite a few crosses.
Jeremy Sorbon – 5 – Average
Was taken aback from the fast Fiorentina start from which his team couldn’t recover.
Christophe Kerbrat – 6.5 – Solid
Made a lot of interceptions and was generally alert at the back to cut off any threat.
Lars Jacobsen – 5 – Passenger
Played a couple of good longs balls but wasn’t involved too much in particular.
Sambou Yatabare – 6.5 – Threat
Was a threat down the right but missed a glorious chance when he headed a short corner on to the crossbar from two yard out.
Lionel Mathis – 7 –Orchestrator
Circulated possession brilliantly, especially in the second half when his side had a man advantage.
Moustapha Diallo – 5 – Fade
Had a couple of good chances in the first half
Jeremy Pied – 6.5 – Gatorade
Ran his lungs out on the left wing going forward as well as helping out the ageing Jacobson.
Sylvain Marveaux – 7 – Livewire
Played some delightful passes in the final third apart from winning the penalty for his side.
Claudio Beauvue – 6 – Wasteful
Took his penalty well and was a constant threat for the home side but wasted quite a few other chances to equalise.

Was thrown on for the final quarter of the game and should have had a penalty minutes after coming on.

Ciprian Tatarusanu – 6.5 – Alert
The Romanian goalkeeper was good at commanding his area as his side were bombarded in the second half.
Jose Maria Basanta – 5 – Bath
Was sent off for a soft foul having started off the game decently.
Nenad Tomovic – 6 – Reliable
Stood tall to keep the visitors at bay in the second half.
Micah Richards – 6 – Commanding
Former Manchester City defender was a rock at the back in one his best performances for the Viola.
Jasmin Kurtic – 5 – Ineffective
Didn’t contribute much going forward though did help out his defence decently.
Juan Manuel Vargas– 7 – Involved
Made the second goal with a brilliant cross and was up to the task whenever called upon while defending.
Milan Badelj – 6 – Average
Did a decent enough job in the midfield breaking up play constantly before he was replaced for the final 20 minutes.
Alberto Aquilani – 7- Fulcrum
Did well to keep his head and lay the ball off to Marin. Sprayed the ball around nicely from the midfield.
Andrea Lazzari – 5 –Invisible
Wasn’t involved too much and was replaced at the beginning of the second half.
Marko Marin – 6 – Lively
Scored his first ever Fiorentina goal and had a couple of other good chances in the first half.
Khouma Babacar – 4 – Lonely
Finished off Vargas’ cross but wasn’t involved much especially in the second half.

Came on to keep the home side at bay in the second half and did a decent job of it.
Juan Cuadrado – 5 – Isolated
The Colombian didn’t have much of an impact in the 40 minutes which he played.
