La Liga champions Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a summer offer for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba.

The Spanish club are believed to be looking for a replacement for their German World Cup winning midfielder Sami Khedira, who looks increasingly likely to leave the club and has fallen behind Toni Kroos and Luka Modric in the Madrid pecking order.

Spanish radio station Cadena Ser reports that Real Madrid is looking at a massive outlay for the Bianconeri’s French midfielder, with a fee in-excess of €40 million being suggested.

The 21-year-old, who has made over 70 appearances for Juventus, has flourished since moving to Turin in 2012 on a free transfer from Manchester United and was recently named among the nominees for the 2014 Ballon d’Or.
