Roberto Mancini wants to return to the Premier League one day and manage Arsenal, whilst also having aspirations to coach the Italy national team.
The newly-appointed Inter boss celebrates his 50th birthday on Thursday, and also revealed he used to be a Juventus fan as a child.
“When I was 10 years old, I supported Juventus,” he told the Corriere dello Sport.
“But the team which has had the biggest impact on my life is Sampdoria.
“I arrived their as a child, but left a man. The love I felt from many people I met in Genoa made me a better person.
“If I could go back in time, I would sign for Inter to play with Ronaldo. Can you imagine? Crazy!”
The Nerazzurri tactician was then asked which he prefers; the Premier League or Serie A, and who he would like to coach in the future.
“Now I would say the Premier League, but 10 years ago I would have answered Serie A,” Mancini said.
“I always wanted to coach Arsenal, and who knows, there is still time.
“Then when I am 60, I can imagine myself as coach of the Azzurri [Italy].”
