Roma are reportedly lining up a bid to sign Fiorentina goalkeeper Norberto Neto.
With the players contract running out at the end of the season, Roma are looking to take advantage of the situation and make the 25-year-old their number one goalkeeper for the next campaign.
According to reports in La Gazzetta dello Sport, Roma are willing to offer the player a contract worth around €1.6 million a year.
Furthermore, the Giallorossi are hoping that the prospect of playing Champions League football will increase their chances of signing the Brazilian international.
Neto signed for Fiorentina in 2011 and despite their ambition to keep hold of the player, it seems unlikely that he will renew his contract with the Viola.
The goalkeeper has so far made 12 appearances this season, keeping five clean sheets, with Fiorentina reportedly willing to offer to him a contract worth around €650,000 year.
