Roma goalkeeper Morgan De Sanctis has said that he was at fault for the last minute equaliser conceded in the 1-1 draw against CSKA Moscow on Tuesday evening in the UEFA Champions League.
The former Napoli goalkeeper stated on Tuesday that he should not be blamed for the goal, but has claimed some responsibility for it after watching the replay.
“I am at some fault for the goal conceded against CSKA,” he told Sky Sport. “I saw the replay on television, and I take back the words I said after the game.”
Roma currently sit in second in Group E, and a win at home against Manchester City in the final matchday will seal their progression to the Round of 16.
