Roma’s Radja Nainggolan had many words of praise for his fellow team-mate Adem Ljajic. The Serbian forward showed his quality in helping Roma come from behind to defeat Atalanta 2–1 away from home.
Nainggolan scored the winner for Roma in their win over Atalanta, and it was Ljajic who provided the assist.
The Belgian midfielder was elated and proud of his team-mate’s performance, who he praised for working hard and never giving up despite not often starting.
“Ljajic is different class,” Nainggolan said to Roma TV.
“He only needs constancy but is otherwise working very well.
“There has been a lot of criticism on him but he often responds on the pitch. Today he made the difference.”
Indeed the Serbian made a rare start on Saturday against Atalanta, but took full advantage of his opportunity and showed Roma coach Rudi Garcia that he can be counted on.
