Serie B side Bologna are the latestĀ team to be linked with a move forĀ out-of-favor AC Milan striker M’Baye Niang in the January transfer window.

Niang does not seem to be part of Rossoneri coach Filippo Inzaghi’s first team plans and the Frenchman could look elsewhere for more playing time. Serie A clubs Genoa and Sampdoria have also been reported to be interested in the teenager.

According to Sport Mediaset, Bologna see Niang as the right piece to reinforce their attack for the second half of the season but could find it difficult to lure the youngster down to Serie B.

Niang has only been able to make two appearances for Milan this season in Serie A, finding himself down in the pecking order behind Fernando Torres, Stephan El Shaarawy, Keisuke Honda and Giampaolo Pazzini.
