Andrea Stramaccioni was a little disappointed following the 1-1 draw with Chievo on Sunday afternoon in Serie A.

The Zebrette took the lead thanks to Antonio Di Natale’s 200th Serie A goal, but Ivan Radovanovic levelled midway through the second half, with both Ivan Piris and Emmanuel Agyemang-Badu taken off with slight knocks.

“It is no coincidence that the first two players to get injured were very Badu and Piris,” he told Rai Sport after the game.

“Both played two midweek games with transatlantic flights, but this is not an excuse.

“What we did well in the first half, was not built upon in the second half. The two dropped points leave a bitter taste in the mouth.

“Chievo tried to put us in trouble, but couldn’t. I’m sorry, we had the game in hand.

“Chievo recovered the result a quarter of an hour from the end with a great goal from Radovanovic, which I want to congratulate him on.

“We are all very happy for Di Natale. The goals of Di Natale can never be erased from Italian football. He is a champion, now and in the history of the game.”

The Flying Donkeys went behind thanks to Antonio Di Natale’s 200th Serie A goal, but Ivan Radovanovic levelled midway through the second half.
