Swansea coach Gary Monk is not interested in recalling Michu from his season long loan at Napoli.
The former Rayo Vallecano man has endured a difficult start to the 2014/15 Serie A season, and there were talks that Michu could be recalled by Swansea as cover for departing striker Wilfred Bony.
However, coach Gary Monk confirmed in a press conference on Friday that the Spaniard will not be recalled.
“Michu is on loan at Napoli for the whole season,” said Monk.
“I’m not even thinking about the possibility of Michu returning, I’ve not even checked the details of the loan.”
Michu has made only five appearances for the Neapolitans this season since making the move in July 2014, and has failed to find the net on any occasion.
