FIFA agent Diego Tavano believes that the 1-1 draw between Inter and AC Milan on Sunday was the right result based on the two teams’ performances but feels that the Biscione will become a much better side under Roberto Mancini.
Both of the Milan clubs had failed to capitalise on multiple chances to break the tie and the agent thinks that the Nerazzurri were mainly lacking due to the short amount of time spent playing under Mancini, while he admits that the Rossoneri need to experiment with their attacking players more.
Tavano spoke to TuttoMercatoWeb about the Derby della Madonnina result and gave his opinion on what the the rival teams need to do to improve this season.
“The Milan derby? It was a match that lacked enough pressing,” said the agent.
“Mancini still needs time to shape his team, while [Milan boss] Filippo Inzaghi should try to give Giampaolo Pazzini a chance instead, as Fernando Torres is proving to be a foreign body.
“The draw was the right result. Inter, in my opinion, will soon begin to show an exponential amount of improvement.”
