Palermo president Maurizio Zamparini feels star striker Paulo Dybala should not play for the Italian national team and instead play for his home nation of Argentina.
There have been many reports suggesting Italy coach Antonio Conte wants Dybala to play for the Azzurri and will try to convince the Argentine born to do so.
“It is not fair that Dybala wear the shirt of our national team (Italy),” said Zamparini to ItaSportPress.it.
“He is an Argentine and as such must answer the call of their national team and not Conte.
“Italy, in my opinion, is the wrong choice, even if he (Dybala) makes the decision to play for them.”
