Italian striker Alessandro Diamanti may return to the Serie A in January with AC Milan or Hellas Verona his likely destination.
The Guangzhou Evergrande striker is said to be keen on a return to his homeland after his €6.9 million move to China a year ago. It is believed that the situation has alerted both Milan and Verona who are looking for striking reinforcements this January.
According to Sky Sport Italia, Milan are leading the way for the player and might try and test the Chinese club’s resolve with a bid in the winter transfer window, while Verona closely following the situation as they look to add more firepower upfront.
The Italian international has played 24 games for Guangzhou Evergrande scoring four goals.
