Both Inter and AC Milan would consider making a transfer attempt for Guangzhou Evergrande attacking midfielder Alessandro Diamanti.

Both the Nerazzurri and Tte Rossoneri believe they need to add attacking reinforcements and have targeted Atletico Madrid attacking midfielder Alessio Cerci with Diamanti as a backup option.

Diamanti believes his career has run its course in China and is looking for a move back to Italy during the January transfer window.

According to Calciomercato.com, both clubs would rather sign Cerci on loan in the January transfer window, but if they were unable to sign Cerci would settle on singing the 31-year-old.

Diamanti last played in Italy for Bologna during the 2013/14 season, scoring six goals in 20 matches.
