Trofeo TIM 2014 - El Shaarawy of AC MilanAC Milan are aiming to make major reinforcements during the January transfer window, including a possible trade involving Stephan El Shaarawy and Roma’s Mattia Destro.

Milan made contact with Roma during the summer over the availability of Destro, but failed to complete a deal at that time. Now they are back in the hunt for the 23-year-old forward, and may be willing to part with El Shaarawy in exchange.

Sport Mediaset report that as well as the out-of-favour Destro, head coach Filippo Inzaghi also wishes to draft in 21-year-old former Fiorentina centre-back Matija Nastasic from Manchester City.

The Rossoneri are being linked to an initial loan move for the Serbian stopper, with a fee to be agreed upon should all parties wish to make the switch permanent.

Furthermore, it seems certain that failed loan signing Fernando Torres will be on his way to pastures new this winter having scored just once since his arrival from Chelsea.

Atletico Madrid are said to keen on taking him back to the club where he made his name to bring his two-year loan from Stamford Bridge to an abrupt end.
