AC Milan have earmarked a host of strikers to improve their goal-scoring options at the end of the season, following the feeble efforts of their frontline.

The Rossoneri are considering the departures of Giampaolo Pazzini, M’Baye Niang and on-loan forward Fernando Torres, after failing to provide adequate backup to Jeremy Menez.

According to Tuttosport, the Italians are keen admirers of FC Porto talisman Jackson Martinez, but the Colombian commands a release clause of €35 million – which appears to have deterred the Rossoneri.

However, reports suggest AC Milan have also monitored the likes of Sampdoria’s Stefano Okaka, Roma’s Mattia Destro and Ciro Immobile of Dortmund as cheaper alternatives.

Milan’s second-choice strikers have only produced a mere one goal this season, courtesy of a Torres header back in September.
