Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri believes his side cannot make mistakes against a well-respected Napoli side in the Supercoppa Italiana.

Allegri’s side are set to take on the Partenopei Doha on Monday, and the Old Lady’s coach is firm about how to win the match.

“We respect Napoli, and cannot make mistakes- which is very hard in a single game scenario such as this,” the 47-year-old told his second press conference before the game.

“They play with four offensive players, find space and know how to highlight their qualities.

While Napoli sit fourth in Serie A, Juventus are once again leading the pack ahead of the turn of the year, but Allegri remains unfazed by the lead.

“The three-point lead is nothing, there is a long way to go,” he said.

“Napoli are well organised, and if they play without mistakes then they will be hard to beat- so the game will be technical and played with a lot of intensity.

Ahead of the Supercoppa, Juve beat Cagliari 3-1 on Thursday, which the Italian coach believes will give them a boost.

“We came back to win at Cagliari, and we will try again to be at our best,” he concluded.

The Bianconeri are the holders of the previous two Supercoppa Italiana titles, having defeated Napoli and Lazio in the previous two editions.
