Andreolli happy Mancini is back at Inter

Marco Andreolli felt Inter’s desire and will to win got them the victory over Chievo and also welcomed the return of Roberto Mancini to the Inter dugout.

Andreolli starred in the 2-0 win, with goals from Mateo Kovacic and captain Andrea Rannochia, over his former club on Monday evening.

”The victory was one we wanted at all costs” Andreolli told Sky Sport Italia, ”We put in a great performance, and now we have another important game against Lazio before the winter break.”

The former Italy Under 21 International feels his experience and passion in the dressing room can help the younger players in the Inter team, ”I try to do my job in the dressing room as best as possible with passion and I try to give a signal to the younger players who have lots of quality.”

The 28-year-old also expressed his delight that he got to work with Roberto Mancini again, Andreolli is the only member of the Inter squad who worked under Mancini the first time around, ”I had worked with him before, I think I am the only one of this group who has and I feel I know a lot more about him now than I did the first time, I’m glad he is back.”
