Atalanta coach delighted with comeback against Palermo

Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono has expressed his delight following his sides fightback from two goals down to earn a 3-3 draw at home to Palermo.

La Dea were 3-1 down after the visitors scored through two goals Franco Vasquez and one from Luca Rigoni, as Atalanta fought back through two goals from German Denis and one from Maximiliano Morales.

“We are happy with our come back against Palermo and I am satisfied with all my players,” the former Rosanero coach told Rai Sport following the conclusion of the match.

“The team had a great reaction but I am disappointed for the two goals conceded early in the match.

“We have changed the way we playing the game and have consequently progressed.

“The attack Sicilians gave us big problems on the attack but the result today means we can enjoy a more peaceful Christmas break.”
