Atalanta are interested in signing former AC Milan player Adel Taarabt in the January transfer window.
The 25-year-old midfielder is currently playing for English side Queens Park Rangers, however since his return from the Rossoneri, he is yet to make a single league appearance this season.
According to reports in Il Corriere di Bergamo, Atalanta’s main transfer target is former Bologna player Alessandro Diamanti, who is also wanted by the aforementioned Milan, therefore they will prioritise Taarabt if they are unable to complete the signing of the 31- year-old.
Last year Taarabt made 14 appearances for Milan, scoring four goals and is reportedly keen on a move back to Serie A.
In addition to these two players, Atalanta are also interested in former Fiorentina forward Alberto Gilardino, who is a teammate of Diamanti at Chinese club Guangzhou Evergrande.
