Atalanta are set to make a concrete approach for Dinamo Zagreb star Marko Pjaca in the upcoming transfer window.
The 19-year-old Croatian international is regarded as one of his country’s brightest young talents, and his recent performances have led to speculation he may be off to one of Europe’s bigger clubs.
Sport Italia report that Atalanta scouts were in the stands to watch Pjaca impressively plunder a hat-trick in his side’s 4-3 home victory over Celtic in the final Europa League group match on Thursday evening.
That performance added even more value to his price-tag and Atalanta will know they have to move quickly if they are to secure the signature of Pjaca before a host of other interested clubs make their move.
Pjaca only transferred to Dinamo in the summer from Lokomotiva, and could be on the move again in January.
