Ahead of his side’s clash with Palermo, Atalanta coach Stefano Colantuono revealed his admiration for one of their bright young talents.
The 52-year-old confirmed he had made into signing the player in question, striker Andrea Belotti in the past but his attempts were unsuccessful.
“He’s a player we tried to bring here,” the tactician confirmed to reporters.
“We were unable to complete the deal and we took other players instead. We have launched and developed many players like him over the years.
“The game is a opportunitty to eradicate the mistake made in the loss against Cagliari,” he stated, turning his attention to the upcoming match.
“We have to increase our distance from the relegation zone further. Sunday is a very important game for us.”
The Nerazzurri have had a disappointing campaign so far and are just two points above the relegation zone.
