Conte - ItalyOn December 16 there will be a meeting between Italy coach Antonio Conte as well as all of the coaches in Serie A. The main aim of this meeting is to improve the strained relationship between the two parties.

This recent problem has occurred due to a number of reasons, mainly being that Conte himself has complained that he has received little assistance in regards to the national side and that he lacks the amount time he would want to spend with his players.

According to TuttoMercatoWeb, Conte would have expressed his frustrations following Italy’s last international outing.

“I look behind me and I see no one supporting me,” Conte said.

However, there are contrasting opinions from various coaches in Serie A, who believe that the training methods implemented by Conte are too strenuous and that the intense workload has a negative effect on their players.

Furthermore, after recent reports that Conte’s future as coach is in doubt, this meeting will hopefully provide a boost of confidence for all the involved parties and will maintain his status as Azzurri coach.

This upcoming meeting will be a chance for all parties to clear the air and resolve any underlying problems.
