Napoli president Aurelio De Laurentiis claims that Napoli will look to improve in the future as he has no intentions of holding back when it comes to challenging for honours in Serie A.
The Partenopei are currently seventh in the league following a disappointing start to the season that also saw them eliminated from the Champions League in the qualifying round.
Speaking to TuttoNapoli.net at the film premiere of ‘Un Natale Stupefacente’, the 65-year-old said that those at the club will not shirk their duties just because they aren’t doing as well as they had hoped.
“I know perfectly well that Napoli is represented by a serious team, which has never pulled back, and is a concentration of forces that are there to work.
“There is always too much gloom… [but] I have never pulled back; we always know how to wear the colours of the team and it must be supported with affection.
“In the future we will see how to improve Napoli.”
