Roma have reportedly given Mattia Destro permission to make his exit from the capital city club during the January transfer window.

The 23-year-old, whose current contract with the Giallorossi is set to expire in June 2017, has been linked with a possible move to a number of clubs in recent weeks including Chelsea and Arsenal and it seems like he may be on the verge of finding a new home at the start of 2015.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Siena man is looking for a way out of Rome due to his deteriorating relationship with Rudi Garcia and his lack of starting appearances this term, though Roma are apparently still waiting for one of his pursuers to present an offer close enough to the €20 million price tag they’ve set on the Italian international.

Destro, who was originally expected to wait until the end of the 2014-15 campaign to leave the Lupi, has scored four goals in his 13 Serie A appearances this season thus far.

Serie A will be a bunch of jokers if they let this guy leave. He is the best italian striker box operator at the moment.I know that he is no super star but surely he has more talent than Immobile who to me is a headless chicken.
