Sassuolo coach Eusebio Di Francesco has stated that his side showed lack of experience in the disappointing draw with Cesena.

Sassuolo were held 1-1 by Cesena at the Magpei Stadium on Saturday evening, with Ze Eduardo’s late goal for the Cavallucci Marini cancelling out Simone Zaza’s opener.

“People say Sassuolo have the best attack in the league, but the players have to realize how many chances they create before scoring”, Di Francesco told Sky Sport Italia.

“We were conceding goals very cheaply. We were distracted in certain situations during the game, we have to be better at that. We were naive.

“We end 2014 with a huge disappointment as this was a game which we should have won.”
