Inter’s Dodo has insisted that he has been working hard in training to prove himself to new coach Roberto Mancini.

The youngster was a regular feature under Walter Mazzarri side this season, and is looking to stay in the side under his new coach.

He spoke at the Nerazzurri’s Christmas meal and acknowledged that even after a good result, Inter need to keep improving.

“We need to find even more confidence,” Dodo stated, “because we need more points and we know it.”

“Mancini has asked me to take part in training and movement because we are all trying to improve and we are doing better and better.

“We all know Mancini as a coach,” Dodo enthused, “which is good because he came in at a difficult time. He is always at our side, which is important to the younger players.”

“A few times we’ve been unlucky but we wanted to react and we are glad we did. Now morale is a little better, we must think about Lazio.”
