Donadoni - ParmaParma head coach Roberto Donadoni has admitted his Parma side weren’t good enough in their clash with Napoli.

The Crociati are firmly rooted to the bottom of the Serie A standings and Donadoni didn’t feel his team performed well enough in the opening period.

“In the first half, we lost out too much in the individual duels,” he told Sky Sport Italia after the final whistle.

“We were just bad.

“But, in the second half, we did a little better and played with more freedom.

“We created more and also hit a post, when showing less fear of a superior quality opponent.”

When quizzed on the possibility that off-the-field financial matters could also be causing issues on the pitch, former Milan man Donadoni refused to accept that as a reason for his side’s failure.

“We could say anything, but I try not to give an alibi relating to matters outside of the pitch,” he continued.

“Having solidity in the background gives you security, but on the pitch you have to give your best and this has not always happened.

“I hope that tomorrow the situation will calm at corporate level.

“Little by little we are recovering players.

“Biabiany is important and will give us a change of gear.”
