Fiorentina are reportedly preparing a serious offer for Roma midfielder Alessandro Florenzi as the January transfer window approaches.

The Viola are apparently looking to take advantage of their good market relationship with the Giallorossi, which was developed when the capital city club purchased Adem Ljajic in 2013, in their mission to sign the 23-year-old and may be open to making a number of different deals to secure the Italian talent.

According to La Nazione, Roma have already set an asking price of €15 million on Florenzi, though Fiorentina are trying to arrange a trade involving either goalkeeper Neto or team captain Manuel Pasqual in hopes of having to pay less cash for the midfielder.

Florenzi, who has scored two goals and provided two assists in his 15 Serie A appearances this season thus far, also shares agent Alessandro Lucci with Viola winger Juan Cuadrado, which could aid the Stadio Franchi outfit in their advances for his services as well.
