Former Inter defender Rolando has reportedly entered talks with Serie A leaders Juventus over a proposed loan deal during the January transfer window.

The 29-year-old centre-back, who played for the Nerazzurri last season while on a season long loan, appeared 29 times for the club before moving back to Porto this season.

However, the centre-back is yet to play for the Portuguese side in the current campaign and is therefore believed to be searching for a move abroad.

And Tuttosport understands that the Bianconeri are interested in Rolando and have offered a loan fee of €500,000 with an option to make the deal permanent at  €4.5 million.

However, Porto are understood to want the loan fee be raised to €1m and are demanding €6m in case of a permanent transfer.

Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has prioritized the signing of a defender during the upcoming transfer window and in case the Rolando deal collapses, the Old Lady could move for Stefan Savic of Fiorentina.

Rolando also made seven appearances for Napoli during the second half of the 2012-2013 Serie A campaign.
