Goran Pandev is set for a return to Serie A with in-form Genoa leading the chase for the former Inter man.

The 31-year-old Macedonia striker joined Galatasaray from Napoli on a two year contract in the summer but has failed to make an impact at the Turkish club.

According to Sport Mediaset, the striker is considering a number of offers to return to Italy, including offers from Torino, Atalanta and Genoa. The most likely outcome is a loan deal with a view to a permanent transfer.

Pandev was part of the Inter squad which won the Champions League in 2010 and opened the scoring during Inter’s 3-0 FIFA World Club Cup Final victory in the same year, and has scored 26 goals in 75 appearances for the Macedonian national team, making him the country’s all-time top scorer.
